Planned by the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce as its major fundraiser, the festival is a free community event where nearly 170 vendors sell their arts, crafts and foods to a crowd of 30,000-plus over the 3-day event. The weekend is filled with events including a youth pet and talent show, a parade, the famous bed race, a baking and canning contest and Art in the Park.

The 94th Alpine Bank Fruita Fall Festival presented by American Family Insurance is once again pleased to present a free weekend of live music on two stages. The RE/MAX 4000 Circle Park Stage will feature regional and national bluegrass bands and the Chesnick Realty Pavilion Stage will feature an original cowboy gathering.

This theme of the 2008 festival is Cowboy Up in Fruita!

The festival is the winner of the prestigious Best of the West award from the Daily Sentinel in 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2008.

Shuttle service will be provided by Williams Production from the Dinosaur Museum, 550 Jurassic Court by Exit 19 and Hwy 340, to the festival venue.

This year the Alpine Bank Fruita Fall Festival is a part of the Grand Valley Fall Spectacular! Other events that weekend include the Grand Junction Air Show, the Fuoco Motor Company Grand Junction Car Show and Color Sunday.
